Nike has given a new twist to its iconic Swoosh thanks to the collaboration with French fashion brand Jacquemus.
Together, they transformed Nike's 54-year-old iconography into a leather shoulder bag, first revealed on Instagram by Jacquemus. Named "The Swoosh Bag", this bag proudly features Jacquemus' signature silver branding on the side of its design. With its inspired silhouette, this iconic accessory offers compact storage space, accessible thanks to a zipper that runs along its curved front.
The advertising campaign for this bag is eagerly awaited, and everything suggests that American athlete Sha'Carri Richardson, the fastest woman in the world, will be the face. This collaboration is not the first between Simon Porte Jacquemus and Nike; the designer has already worked with the brand on several projects, including an activewear collaboration in 2022 and a fusion between the Air Force 1 and ACG Terra, dubbed the Nike J Force 1, last year.
The “Swoosh Bag” from Jacquemus and Nike will be launched on Monday February 26 at a price of 420 EUR. Registrations are now open on the Jacquemus online store.
