The best looks from the Met Gala 2024

Les meilleurs looks du Met Gala 2024 - HYTRAPE

Did you see the Met Gala this year? It was a real spectacle, an explosion of creativity on the theme “The Garden of Time”. Hold on tight, because I'm going to tell you everything you need to remember about this memorable evening, as if we were there, strolling among the stars.

First, let me tell you about Zendaya. As usual, she completely stole the show. Imagine this: she shows up with two incredible outfits, both by John Galliano. The first is a nod to the Dior Spring 1999 collection, an artisan dress from Maison Margiela that caught the light with wild elegance, complemented by Bulgari jewelry and makeup inspired by Pat McGrath's iconic looks. For her second look, Zendaya returned in force with a black Givenchy outfit from the Spring 1996 Couture collection, styled with a statement floral piece that made it look like she was carrying a giant bouquet. A real show in itself.

And Bad Bunny also opted for a Maison Margiela look by John Galliano, but in a totally different style. He opted for black with a bouquet of barathea wool as a floral touch, complemented by Tabi boots by Christian Louboutin. It had a poetic, almost dark look, which fit perfectly with the theme of the evening.

Jennifer Lopez, oh my, she looked sublime in a custom Schiaparelli creation by Daniel Roseberry. The dress took more than 800 hours of hand embroidery and was adorned with more than 2.5 million silver sequins and beads. A true work of art!

Other highlights included Doja Cat and her famous VETEMENTS wet t-shirt, Gwendoline Christie and Kim Kardashian both in Margiela, and Tyla who caused a stir in a crystal-embellished Balmain dress and a giant hourglass for respect the theme to the letter.

Cardi B in gothic glam fashion, Kendall Jenner transformed into a garden nymph, and Nicki Minaj in floral Marni were also there, not forgetting Greta Lee in a transparent and delicate Loewe dress.

Each look told a story, each outfit reflected a unique interpretation of the theme. It was an evening where time stood still, where each designer was able to show their talent through outfits that seemed to come from a dream. A true garden of ephemeral beauties that will remain engraved in memories as a key moment in fashion. What do you think of these looks? Do you have your favorites?
