Young Thug, one of rap's most influential and innovative artists, has officially released his latest project, "Business Is Business." The album, which lasts approximately 45 minutes, is a demonstration of Young Thug's creativity and originality, and confirms his place as a leading figure in contemporary rap.
“Business Is Business” is made up of 15 tracks, all produced by renowned producer Metro Boomin. The album opens with “Parade in Cleveland,” a collaboration with Drake that sets the tone for the rest of the album. Drake also appears on the track "Oh U Went", adding his unique touch to Young Thug's music.
The album also includes collaborations with other renowned artists. Future makes an appearance on "Cars Bring Me Out", while Travis Scott collaborates with Young Thug on "Wit Da Rocks" alongside 21 Savage and Yak Gotti, as well as on "Abracadabra". 21 Savage also features on “Want Me Dead,” and Lil Uzi Vert makes an appearance on “Hellcat Kenny.” Bslime and Lil Gotit collaborate on “Hoodie,” and Nate Ruess closes the album with “Global Access.”
“Business Is Business” marks Young Thug's return following his May 2022 arrest on RICO charges. This is his first project since "Punk", released in October 2021. Despite the challenges he has faced, Young Thug continues to produce music that pushes genre boundaries and defies expectations.
When asked to talk about the album, Young Thug simply replied, "Business is Business." This statement, although brief, perfectly sums up Young Thug's approach to music. For him, music is a business, but it is also a form of artistic expression and a way of sharing his vision of the world.
