Kevin Durant's latest colorway, the Nike KD 16 "Aunt Pearl", is much more than just a pair of sneakers. She is the symbol of a deeply personal cause for Durant, paying tribute to his late aunt, Pearl, who sadly succumbed to breast cancer. This tradition, initiated with the Nike KD 4, has become one of Durant's most cherished Nike initiatives.

The Nike KD 16 “Aunt Pearl” stands out with its shades of pink, ranging from soft pastel to a vibrant hot pink. A poignant detail is the rose featured on the tongue of the left shoe, while a tribute to the late Aunt Pearl and former basketball coach Kay Yow is seen on the inner lining. These subtle, yet meaningful details show Durant's commitment to raising awareness about breast cancer.
