New Balance is preparing to launch a new version of its famous 9060 sneaker, the New Balance 8040.
This new silhouette retains the diamond-shaped sole of the 9060, but features a suede upper with a Velcro closure system instead of traditional laces. Discretion is key with the "NB" logo embroidered tone-on-tone on the strap and an "N" logo engraved on the tip of the outsole. The first three versions offered are in tan color with a black sole and mudguard, all in brown, and all in navy blue.
While New Balance has yet to officially reveal this new silhouette, pairs are expected to begin appearing this fall at New Balance and select retailers.
