Supreme, the streetwear brand founded by James Jebbia and ranked 7th in the streetwear world, has once again teamed up with Nike to reinvent a classic.
Having already resurrected several iconic Nike models, like the Air Tailwind IV and the Air Bakin, the two streetwear and sportswear giants offer us a preview of their latest collaboration: a skate version of the Nike Air Darwin from the 90s .
The Rebirth of a Classic: Nike SB Air Darwin Low
The new iteration, dubbed the Nike SB Air Darwin Low , transforms the '90s basketball shoe into a skatepark-ready sneaker. The updated design features a lower cut and skate-oriented specifications.
A Clean and Functional Design
The shoe sports a heavy canvas upper in a light faded cream color, contrasted by hits of "Polar Blue" on the reverse leather Swoosh, eyelets, base of the tongue label and Supreme branded side label.
Black also features in the design, covering the collar, heel tab and lining, as well as the entire sole.
As usual, the insole displays the text "Supreme" in white on a red background, bringing the final touch to this collaboration.
Release Information
At this time, neither Supreme nor Nike have shared any details about this collaboration. However, we can already tell you that four colors are expected for next year. The sneakers will be available via the Supreme and Nike platforms for $120.
