Adam Sandler delves into a more emotional side of his acting talent with Netflix's new film, 'Spaceman.' The sci-fi film, whose official trailer has just been released, is set to premiere at the Berlin Film Festival next month. Directed by Johan Renck, known for directing the HBO miniseries 'Chernobyl', the film is based on Czech author Jaroslav Kalfař's 2017 novel, 'Spaceman of Bohemia'.

The film's official synopsis reads: "Six months into a solitary research mission to the far reaches of the solar system, astronaut Jakub (Adam Sandler) realizes that the marriage he left behind might not be not expecting her when he returns to Earth. Desperate to mend things with his wife, Lenka (Carey Mulligan), he receives help from a mysterious creature from the beginning of time that he finds hidden in the bowels of his ship. Hanuš (voiced by Paul Dano) works with Jakub to figure out what went wrong before it's too late."
