“Kaiju No. 8”: The anime confirmed for a new season

The 12th and final episode of the TV anime "Kaiju No.8" aired on Saturday, June 29. Right after, a short teaser from TOHO Animation was presented, confirming that the anime will be getting a new season.

Based on the manga of the same name by Naoya Matsumoto, “Kaiju No.8” launched its first season in April, and was streamed internationally on Crunchyroll and X (formerly Twitter).

Although little information is available at present, it is likely that the new season will cover "The Compatible User" arc of the manga, where the hero, Kafka Hibino, must prove his worth to remain within the Defense Force. The teaser also reveals that Koki Uchiyama will join the cast as the voice actor for General Narumi, captain of the First Division of the Defense Force.
