The supreme x MM6 Maison Margiela collaboration (2024)

La collaboration supreme x MM6 Maison Margiela (2024) - HYTRAPE

For its spring 2024 collection, Supreme is partnering with MM6 Maison Margiela .

The official announcement and release of the lookbook comes a little over a month after the announcement of a collaboration between the iconic streetwear brand and the Belgian designer. At the time there was talk of a collaboration with Maison Margiela, but sources later indicated it would be with the MM6 brand.

Lending its iconic logo to the luxury designer, Supreme continues to expand its range of collaborations with high fashion partners. In the past, Supreme has collaborated with brands such as Louis Vuitton, COMME des GARÇONS and others. MM6 Maison Margiela is the latest luxury brand to be associated with the iconic logo, seen on a variety of classic t-shirts as well as hoodies.

The previously teased co-branded label, which displays the MM6 designation alongside the Supreme logo, is seen as an additional label on each of the collaborative pieces.

Pairing Supreme’s key streetwear pieces and iconography with MM6’s avant-garde tailoring, the collaboration features a wide range of offerings.

From the faux fur coat to the deconstructed varsity jacket, metallic and distressed work jacket to the washed cotton suit and vest, each piece embodies Margiela's design philosophy by bringing subtle, subversive twists to otherwise mundane everyday clothing.

The two hooded sweatshirts and matching painter's pants are inspired by Margiela's metallic textures, making them unmistakably marked by the MM6 spirit. Other pieces include a co-branded camp cap and athletic socks as well as two S/S Hanes® Tank Tops. In accessories, the collaboration includes a blonde wig, a receipt wallet, a Kryptonite® chain + padlock and a skateboard.

The Supreme x MM6 Maison Margiela Spring 2024 collaboration will launch globally via streetwear printing on March 28 at 11 a.m. in the United States and March 30 at 11 a.m. in Japan (not available in Seoul).
