Swedish brand Chimi, known for its sunglasses, recently collaborated with sports car manufacturer Koenigsegg to create a capsule collection inspired by motor racing. This collection includes sunglasses and reflective jackets. The timing of this collaboration couldn't be better, with Formula 1 mania at its peak.
The collection, called FORCA-G, is made from the same materials used to build Koenigsegg's famous Agera RS, the world's fastest production car (capable of reaching speeds of 400 km/h). The resulting pieces offer an intoxicating blend of performance and aesthetics.
The lightweight titanium sunglasses, available in black and silver, are designed to flatter any face. The accompanying running jacket, with its metal alloy fiber shell, is wind and water resistant. The final detail is the magnetically detachable glasses case.
Enigmatic Swedish rapper Yung Lean has been chosen to be the face of this collection's campaign. It's a rare appearance for the elusive rapper, a fact not lost on Charlie Lindström, Chimi's creative director. He considers it a privilege to have Yung Lean as the face of the collection, describing him as a “truly authentic enigma” and a “truly authentic artist”.
