Originally from Luanda in Angola, Chris Hamiwest - his real name - has been immersed in music and more precisely in rap since his adolescence.

Faced with the need to create his own productions due to lack of financial means, Agatchu adopts a tone that he himself describes as folk-afro tinged with pop nuances. A style that quickly distinguished him, making him the man in the shadows of many renowned artists such as Joé Dwet Filé, Tayc, MHD, Dadju and Ya Levis.

With his very first single New Maserati , a skillful fusion of amapiano and afrobeat that we won't get tired of anytime soon, Agatchu passes the second by highlighting his art and confirms his growing status within the afro scene .
