At the United Center in Chicago, Ye and Ty Dolla $ign offered an exclusive listening experience for the first volume of their highly anticipated album, "Vultures, Volume 1."
This event recalls the experience of listening to Ye's DONDA album which offered an opportunity to discover the album in an audiovisual presentation.
The event, also broadcast live on Veeps, saw Ye and Ty Dolla $ign take the stage, with Ye sporting a Jason Voorhees-style hockey mask. They performed several tracks from the album, including "In the Stars" and "Paid". Ye's daughter North West joined them on stage for her appearance on "Talking / Once Again," followed by "Everybody," a track that features Charlie Wilson and samples the Backstreet Boys.
The evening continued with “Back To Me,” featuring Freddie Gibbs and Quavo, and “Hoodrat.” YG appeared for his participation in "Do It", although Quavo was not present for "Paperwork". Ye and Ty also previewed "Burn," which will be featured on "Vultures, Volume 2" next month. The Playboi Carti, Travis Scott and Quavo-assisted track "Fuk Sumn" was performed without guests, but Bump J was present for the title track. Freddie Gibbs, although absent during the broadcast of "Back To Me", joined the duo on stage later.
The event also previewed "Carnival" featuring Rich The Kid, which will be featured on "Volume 2" and includes a sample of Black Sabbath's "Iron Man." Another track samples Donna Summers' "I Feel Love" promising sonic diversity and deep musical exploration in the album's next volume.
