Nike has just launched a truly special version of the Air Force 1 Low, called "404 Error 2.0". It's the kind of drop that turns heads and, above all, doesn't last long on the shelves!
Why “404 Error”, you ask? It's a nod to the famous error message we encounter on the web, and frankly, it's quite original for a sneaker. The first version was already cool, but this "2.0" takes it up a notch with lenticular material throughout the shoe, which gives it a futuristic and super stylish look.
But the coolest detail is that each pair is numbered. Yes, you heard correctly! There are only 404 pairs available, and each sneaker has a unique number on the heel. It's the kind of detail that makes a pair of sneakers not only unique, but also super collectible.
The design is quite minimalist in terms of stitching, with the iconic .SWOOSH logo clearly visible. On the heel, you have the "404 Error" which is proudly displayed, accompanied by the message "The requested upper was not found. Try again." It's funny, isn't it? It adds a bit of geeky humor to the whole thing.
Color wise, it's rather sober: the midsole is white and the outsole is translucent, which gives a nice contrast with the more complex design above.
If you want to try and get your hands on these little wonders, you'll have to be quick. The release is scheduled exclusively on the Nike SNKRS app on April 23 for .SWOOSH members only. The price ? 150 dollars. Not cheap, but given the rarity and originality of the model, it could well be worth it.
So, if you have not yet registered on the .SWOOSH platform, you have until April 18 to do so and be eligible for purchase. Who knows, maybe you'll be one of the lucky ones who will be able to sport this ultra-limited pair!
There you go, I hope you are as excited as I am about this release. Ready to try your luck for this special edition?
