Giannis Antetokounmpo and the Milwaukee Bucks are preparing to face Tyrese Haliburton and the Indiana Pacers in the first round of this year's NBA playoffs, after securing third place in the Eastern Conference last weekend. The "Greek Freak's" dominance this season has been bolstered by the Nike Zoom Freak 5, his latest signature shoe. With him expected to continue wearing this model throughout the playoffs, a first look at what to expect from the Zoom Freak 6 has been revealed.
Two low-quality views of the sneaker show off a pink-covered coloring that appears to build on the Zoom Freak 5's low-top construction.
Its oversized side Swoosh once again dives into the midsole, while the overlay that accommodates the eyelets no longer covers the toe box. While no details regarding the shoe's technology have been confirmed so far, you can expect it to feature a forefoot-loaded Zoom Air unit.
At the time of writing, neither Giannis Antetokounmpo nor Nike Basketball have shared a release date for the Zoom Freak 6 for this year. With its predecessor launching last July, it's likely that this iteration of the sneaker will also launch this offseason.
