So, hold on tight because LEGO and Pharrell Williams have just released something crazy! Together, they have concocted a buildable set that is awesome, and believe me, it is worth the detour.
Dubbed " Over the Moon ," this little gem is now available for the modest sum of 109.99 euros. Okay, it's not cheap, but wait until you see what's inside!
Imagine a space shuttle with a golden windshield that shines brightly, propelled by multi-colored rays that will dazzle you. And that's not all! You have two characters who accompany it, but be careful, not just any characters. These little men are real chameleons with their 50 interchangeable faces, including 30 specially created for the occasion. Isn't that classy?
And you know what? These LEGO heads are made for everyone. No matter your skin color, you'll definitely find a figure that looks like you. That's what we call inclusion, my friends!
But why space, you might ask? Well, let me tell you. Our buddy Pharrell, when he was little, spent hours contemplating the stars. He bombarded his mother with questions that the poor thing couldn't answer. "How far does space go? Why is this star blue? And that one, why does it twinkle?" In short, the kid was fascinated. For him, space represented... space, precisely. An infinite playground for his overflowing imagination.
But wait, there's more! This set is just the appetizer. The main course is coming soon in the form of a LEGO movie called "Pieces by Pieces." This feature-length film will tell us the story of Pharrell Williams, no less! It will be released first in the United States on October 11, then in the rest of the world starting November 6.
And guess who we're going to hear in this film? Hold on tight: Pharrell of course, but also Snoop Dogg, JAY-Z and Kendrick Lamar! No less! Morgan Neville is at the helm, the same guy who won the Oscar for best documentary in 2014 for "Twenty Feet from Stardom". Needless to say, it's promising!
Honestly, between you and me, I think it's great that LEGO is getting into such cool collaborations. It shows that these little bricks aren't just for kids. And then, combining Pharrell Williams' creativity with the LEGO universe is like mixing chocolate and peanut butter: it can only be good!
So, what do you think? Will you be tempted by this space set? Or maybe you'll be impatiently waiting for the movie? I already know that I'm going to fall for both!
