Description
About this resource
The SST family harmoniously combines natural legibility with a modern, clean structure. This alliance creates a typeface that is both discreet and versatile, adapting to all your typographical applications. Whether it's for imposing headlines in print or miniature text on packaging, its style remains timeless and user-friendly.
Options for all your creations
To meet all your needs, SST offers a wide range of options:
-
Six different weights, from ultralight to heavy.
-
A complete W1G character set.
-
Italic versions for each weight.
-
Three condensed designs for confined spaces.
-
Two monospace characters for a typewriter look.
A design conceived for the world
Initially created for the global brand Sony, SST is the result of a collaboration with a network of local designers worldwide. This approach ensures perfect consistency across different languages, from Latin to Greek, including Cyrillic and many Asian languages. The subtle details of the typeface, such as the curvature or stroke width, are thus preserved and uniform, ensuring a strong and unified brand image internationally.
