Fear of God, led by Jerry Lorenzo, revealed its highly anticipated collaboration with adidas during its debut fashion show at the Hollywood Bowl in Los Angeles . This alliance marks Lorenzo's transition from its partnership with Nike to adidas, to expand the brand's creative and commercial strategies in the basketball category.
At the event, several sneakers were presented, including models inspired by the adidas Forum Hi, with three-stripe cages and relaxed low-top silhouettes. All of these sneakers feature thick, plain soles, characteristic of the Fear of God x adidas collaboration.
The highlight of the show was the presentation of the first Fear of God x adidas sneaker, with a mid-top silhouette and a breathable sock-style upper. The sneaker is distinguished by a side cage reminiscent of the three iconic adidas stripes and a color in shades of gray. A drawstring located at the front of the tongue allows the shoe to be adjusted around the ankle. Additionally, the sneakers feature luxurious pleated toes and chunky soles, similar to Lorenzo's Nike Air Fear of God 1.
Fans were able to preview the black/gray and white/gray colors of this highly anticipated collaboration. Although the official launch date has yet to be announced, Fear of God and adidas fans can't wait to learn more about this unique collaboration.
