Selection criteria
In this selection, a concept store is a place that brings together several brands or several worlds (fashion, design, books, fragrance, café, crafts). Four criteria decided which addresses we kept:
- Several brands or several worlds under one selection. A shop that sells only its own brand is excluded.
- A Paris address confirmed by the official website or, failing that, the official Instagram account.
- Activity visible in 2026 on that official channel.
- An opening more than two years ago, meaning before October 2024.
We give no rating, no customer reviews and no prices.
The 10 profiles, sorted by district
SHINZO (Paris 1st)
SHINZO groups several shops side by side on rue Étienne Marcel: the flagship at no. 23, SHINZO Basketball at no. 25, SHINZO Running at no. 27 and SHINZO Kids at no. 37 (“Our stores” page). The site footer also lists no. 39, and the “About” page mentions six points of sale on the same street: we detail only the four on the “Our stores” page. The flagship is described as a space split into isolated boxes that reflect the history of fashion and of sport, with a temporary zone renewed every month around a product or a brand. The home page highlights Nike, adidas, Salomon and Vans sneakers, Mizuno models, Polo Ralph Lauren clothing and Garmin watches (official site). The site places the start of its story in winter 2001 on rue Étienne Marcel and calls itself the sneaker specialist in Paris. It does not use the term concept store. We keep it because it brings together several brands and several themed spaces. Numéro lists numbers 23, 25, 27, 37 and 39 (article of July 2025, edited in April 2026).
Nose (Paris 2nd)
Nose presents itself as the concept store for niche perfumery and beauty, in the heart of the Montorgueil area, at 20 rue Bachaumont (official site). The site dates the launch of its scent diagnosis to 2012 and offers 30-minute sessions to book with an adviser; the venue also hosts scent workshops for companies. The site announces more than 80 designer brands and more than 800 fragrances, as well as home fragrances and cosmetics (“A unique concept” page). The undated Visit Paris Region listing gives the same address and hours, but mentions more than 500 fragrances: we use the official site’s figures. Time Out lists the venue at the same address as early as April 2016 (listing).
Empreintes (Paris 3rd)
Empreintes Paris 3 presents itself as the concept store for fine crafts (métiers d’art), at 5 rue de Picardie, in the Haut-Marais. It was born in 2016 from an initiative of Ateliers d’Art de France (official site). The site announces nearly 1,000 unique pieces or small series from craft workshops based in France: everyday objects, tableware, lighting, jewelry, furniture and sculpture. The venue also has a bookshop devoted to fine crafts and a gallery, which presents an exhibition from October 13 to November 14, 2026. The network has other addresses, in Paris 17th and in Pézenas (list of addresses).
Merci (Paris 3rd)
Merci has occupied a 19th-century building at 111 boulevard Beaumarchais since 2009, over three floors (official site). The site describes a mix of women’s and men’s fashion, household linen, furniture, everyday objects and dining, with cafés in place of shop windows. It also lists a Used Book Café among its venues, and a second address, Merci #2, at 19 rue de Richelieu, Paris 1st (“Our stores” page). Numéro confirms the 2009 opening and mentions workwear-inspired pieces, brands such as Dickies, Rains and Carhartt WIP, used books and a café (article of July 2025).
OFR. (Paris 3rd)
OFR. is a bookshop and gallery in the Marais, at 20 rue Dupetit-Thouars. Its official Instagram account describes it as a bookshop, gallery, studio, publisher and film maker; the twelve latest posts visible date from October 18 to 23, 2026 (official Instagram). The bio announces opening every day from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. In 2023, Time Out described fanzines, magazines, books made with artists and a house bucket hat, plus a back room that hosts private sales of young brands (page from September 2023). According to Wikipedia, the project began in 1996 as a free newspaper, and the bookshop-gallery settled in the Marais in 2007 (Wikipedia). The domain ofrsystem.com, cited by some directories, redirects to a domain-name sales page: use the Instagram account.
The Broken Arm (Paris 3rd)
The Broken Arm is a multi-brand shop in the Haut-Marais, at 12 rue Perrée. Visit Paris Region dates its opening to 2013 (listing), while a sneaker site says 2012 (JustFreshKicks). The official site sorts its range into women’s and men’s clothing, by brand: Comme des Garçons, Dries Van Noten, Jean Paul Gaultier, Lemaire, Maison Margiela, Prada, Rick Owens, Saint Laurent, Salomon, Nike, Our Legacy and the house brand, The Broken Arm. It also has a gift shop (art of living, books, music, stationery) and archive collections (official site). On June 11, 2026, JustFreshKicks announced a new sneaker made with Salomon.
Dover Street Market Paris (Paris 4th)
Dover Street Market Paris opened on May 24, 2024, the date announced by FashionUnited and Numéro, in the Hôtel de Coulanges, at 35-37 rue des Francs-Bourgeois, on about 1,100 m². The official floor guide spreads the brands over the first floor, the ground floor (two wings) and the basement: several Comme des Garçons lines, Dries Van Noten, Prada, Rick Owens, Miu Miu, Jean Paul Gaultier, Maison Margiela, Stüssy, Nike, New Balance or Salomon (floor guide). The bookshop 1909 Bookstore and the café Rose Bakery are at the same address. The news feed announces arrivals from the autumn-winter 2026 collection (news). The site lists a second address, Dover Street Parfums Market, at 11 bis rue Elzévir, Paris 3rd (addresses).
Fleux (Paris 4th)
Fleux groups home decor and lifestyle shops on rue Sainte-Croix de la Bretonnerie, at numbers 39, 40 and 52. Created in 2005, the company describes itself as family-run and independent (our story). Each address has its theme: home and whimsy, furniture and lighting, a family world, home and urban lifestyle, a cottage style. You also find accessories, sneakers, skincare and eco-responsible ready-to-wear (our shops). Fleux opened a shop in Boulogne-Billancourt in October 2024 and another in Passy (Paris 16th) in December 2025. Visit Paris Region confirms an opening in 2005 (listing).
L’Éclaireur (Paris 4th, 1st and 8th)
L’Éclaireur (the site spells it LECLAIREUR) presents itself as a fashion, design and lifestyle concept store, with three Paris addresses (official site). The shop at 40 rue de Sévigné (4th), open since 2009, was designed with the Belgian artist Arne Quinze and uses 147 screens and recycled materials (Sévigné space). The shop at 10 rue Hérold (1st), in the former stables of an 18th-century townhouse, has been open since 2001; the page names brands such as Undercover and Carol Christian Poell (Hérold space). The shop at 10 rue Boissy d’Anglas (8th), established in 2006, names Jil Sander, Dries Van Noten, The Row and Maison Margiela (Boissy space).
Centre Commercial (Paris 10th)
Centre Commercial opened in 2010 near the Canal Saint-Martin and presents itself as a place that combines fashion, design and commitment (about us). The main shop is at 2 rue de Marseille. The site also lists Centre Commercial Outdoor (10 rue de Marseille), Centre Commercial Kids (22 rue Yves Toudic) and Centre Commercial Charonne (26 rue de Charonne, 75011). It sorts its range into men, women, outdoor, kids and lifestyle, with brands such as A Kind of Guise, Birkenstock, Paraboot, Porter Yoshida and Veja (official site). The selection highlights brands that are transparent about how they are made. Numéro confirms the 2010 opening (article of July 2025).
What we dropped from the starting list
Our starting list, drawn up in 2024, had ten addresses. Five are kept: OFR., The Broken Arm, Dover Street Market Paris, Nose and SHINZO. Five are dropped, for two reasons.
Opening not confirmed: two addresses
The Archivist Store (13 rue Taylor, 75010), a men’s vintage clothing shop. A Time Out listing from September 2025 still describes it. But its official Instagram account says the store is currently closed, and its site is in waiting mode, announcing the return of the online shop. We cannot confirm that it welcomes the public in October 2026.
The Next Door (10 rue Beaurepaire, 75010). Its official Instagram account shows “2006 - 2026” followed by a thank-you, and the latest visible post dates from May 28, 2026. Its site announces a new chapter, with no address or hours. We found no official statement on the store’s fate, but no official source presents it as open.
Single-brand shops: three addresses
LEMAIRE, Supreme and Wasted are still in business, but each sells its own brand. They do not meet the multi-brand criterion. Here are their addresses from the official sites: LEMAIRE at 1 rue Elzévir (75003) and at the galerie de Montpensier in the Palais-Royal (75001) (official site); Supreme at 20 rue Barbette (75003) (“stores” page); Wasted at 5 rue de Turbigo (75001), Monday to Saturday from 11:30 a.m. to 7 p.m. (“about” page).
Details from the 2024 list that were not kept
The starting list contained anecdotes that we found in no source: a celebrity visit, book signings with fashion designers, remarks about prices. They are not kept. The figure of more than 500 fragrances at Nose is replaced by the official site’s figure. The list mentioned four SHINZO shops: the site details four on “Our stores”, lists five numbers in its footer and mentions six points of sale on “About”.
How we checked
For each address, we opened the official website on October 23, 2026 or, when it no longer answers, the official Instagram account. Addresses, brands and hours come from those pages. When a page gives a date (news item, post, exceptional closure), we say so. For age, we cross-checked the official site with an independent source (Visit Paris Region, FashionUnited, Numéro, Time Out, Wikipedia) when one exists.
Sites list brands by season: the names cited are examples read that day, not a full catalog. Hours change too. Check them on the venue’s site before you go.
